The blogging on GOP3.com will cover quite a spectrum this summer. Here is a run down of what The Triumvirate will be up to and blogging about for the next three months.

An American Conservative Blogger in Europe

I (Brandon Henak) will be blogging from various locations across central and eastern Europe this summer, so the content I post will have a slightly more international perspective to it than usual. I will be departing June 9th but until then I will continue blogging on Marquette, Wisconsin and US events with a local perspective.

I have had a number of friends who come back from abroad with an unabetted hate for America due to our unpoplular foreign image, I hope to gain a greater understanding of this phenomenon and how to deal with it. I realize this is a rather expansize undertaking but some understanding is better than none.

One of my close friends, Tracey Heusner, spent some time in France and came back home conveying strong anti-american sentiment and wishing she could be proud of her country. After we finished researching and breaking down many of the hateful and baseless accusations her French friends had made, much of her faith in the US was restored. Keep in mind, I do not advocate, nor does she practice blind patriotism or party alliance but, a healthy faith in ones country promotes civil activism and faith in one’s fellow Americans.

Dan and Don Manzullo

Daniel Suhr is currently interning for US Representative Don Manzullo of Illinois on the hill and taking classes through Marquette University’s Les Aspin center. As he gets more comfortable in his new environment I’m sure you will see an increase in his post frequency.

Brian Holding Down the Fort

Brian is back home in Wisconsin after attending the Les Aspin Center last semester and will be holding down the fort here in Wisconsin and reporting on local events.

That’s adorable that the three of you are scattered across the world this summer. I still expect the same current, up-to-the-hour blogging that keeps my productivity at work to an all-time low. (And don’t worry, Brandon, we’ll all be waiting for a call from the customs office to come pick you up.)

    Heh.

Les Aspin was my Econ 101 prof at MU before he ran off to Congress from District 1.

Lefty wonk, but not hysterical about it…
