The National Weather Service is warning that temperatures in southern Wisconsin this weekend and next weekend will be the coldest in decades (JS Online). Yet another example of global warming…

The National Weather Service in a special weather statement issued this afternoon is warning that temperatures across southern Wisconsin this weekend and next week could be the coldest in 10 years.

The Weather Service says low temperatures could range from 10 to 20 degrees below zero, with high temperatures struggling to rise beyond single digits.

Dangerous wind chills are also expected with the frigid temperatures, the Weather Service says.

It seems weather this winter is going through natural cycles, mild early winter, cold snowy mid-winter…

Update: Looks like folks in Britain are having one of their of their coldest winters in a long time as well.

It is more about extremes and higher averages. That would lead to very cold weather.
