The Hotline brings to our attention the fact that seven Republican state Attorneys General have endorsed John McCain for President:
AGs Troy King (AL), Steve Carter (IN), Mike Cox (MI), Wayne Stenehjem (ND), Henry McMaster (SC), Mark Shurtleff (UT), and Rob McKenna (WA) will support McCain (release, 3/7). Their support was revealed at the Nat’l Assoc. of AGs this week. SC AG McMaster: “Most of the establishment is for McCain. Most of the establishment last time was for Bush. … The people who used to sit around the table and decide how much money would be raised for Bush” in ’00, “are all sitting around his table” (Bolton, The Hill, 3/7).
We know JB was in DC for the conference… Presumably he too got hit up to join Team McCain but decided against it at this juncture…

Good for JB!! McCain is not a good candidate…. the McCain-Feingold law will kill him in this race
Just one of many reasons why I am not supporting John McCain, despite him having the best pro-life record of the current Republican candidates (I am shuddering just typing that).
