As a proud member of the Leinie’s Lodge, this is a bill I am all for:

Senator Pat Kreitlow (KREYET’-loh) wants to extend the law to include beer samples.
The Chippewa Falls Democrat says it would help consumers find out about the state’s specialty brewers — including hometown brewer Leinenkugel (LEYEN’-koo-gel).
Kreitlow says the beer industry has changed over the years to include many more choices, including apricot and chocolate beer with prices as high as ten dollars a bottle.
Current state law allows retailers to give away to three-ounce samples of wine to consumers. The new law would allow them to hand out the same amount of free beer samples the equivalent of up to half a can to consumers between 11 a-m and 7 p-m.
