For starters, a note to all the media folks who read this blog. When there is a big political fundraiser in town, and the campaigns will not say how much they raised, reporters will often multiply the number of attendees times the ticket price to get the amount raised. You should just all know that there has been a table in Marquette’s Union the past few days handing out tickets to students. So when yyou do your multiplying, if you need to, adjust your numbers down to account for student attendance.

Has anyone else noticed as part of this whole FEC Q1 schmorgasborg that no candidate for President, either side of the aisle, has much infrastructure in Wisconsin? John Edwards has Dave Obey, and Barack Obama has Tom Barrett. Other than that, who’s got any endorsements coming out of Wisconsin?

Rudy’s finance list has no Wisconsin chair, though he has chairs in states like Nebraska and Delaware. He’s got Rick Wiley, former Exec. Dir. of the Wisconsin GOP, as his deputy national political director. Romney has Jill Latham, ex-Pol. Dir. for the WI GOP, as his Iowa pol. dir., but no Wisconsin finance chair. We know from news reports that businessman Terry Dittrich, who is deputy finance chairman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin, took part in the Romney call-a-thon. A McCain search reveals no Wisconsin team…

    Barrett actually did something?

Thats not good that they are writing us off this time… Probably think we definitely gone blue.

JB Van Hollen endorsed Tommy. That would probably be the only one??

I think Barrett’s early endorsement is hysterical. He must be really terrified about his re-election prospects in Milwaukee.
