Yana, much as I like Sam Brownback, the dull ax remark is getting old. He used it in his announcement speech and his CPAC speech. And, frankly, I think he should support a straight-out flat tax rather than a flat tax or old tax code option for filers.

Brian, you're right, Matthews is terrible and was bad last night. Brian Williams was so much better.

MR MATTHEWS: Should we change our Constitution which we believe is divinely inspired to allow men like Mel Martinez, the chairman of your party, born in Cuba, great patriot, senator from Florida, and Arnold Schwarzenegger to stand here some night?

To hear Chris Matthews call the Constitution divinely inspired - whoda thought?

Didn't watch the debate, partly because I can't stand Democrat operative Chris Matthews. Why in the world are Republicans giving one of the worst rated TV hosts, a rabid liberal, the opportunity to moderate the first Republican debate. How about we let the USCCB moderate the next Democrat party debate?

Just some of the most assinine questioning possible ... what do you dislike most about America?!? No wonder some of these guys gave a bad performance.
