I’m with Fred LogoWhere can I donate to Former Senator Fred Thompson’s Presidential Campaign? Where can I volunteer to help Fred Thompson, the man I hope will be our next President? These questions have been heard constantly across the internet for the past few months. People were even looking for Fred Thompson’s old Senate election fund to donate to.

Here is the answer: ImwithFred.com

He discussed it last night with Hannity on Fox News:

Hannity: “Let’s talk about where you stand now. You’ve created a testing the waters committee. It allows you to raise money, hire staff, gauge support. There’s been talk you may announce the Fourth of July, the week of the Fourth of July. Where are you now?”

Thompson: “ImwithFred.com.”

Hannity: “Wait a minute. Is this a big announcement?”

Thompson: “Kind of get that out of the way. … We just put it up. And we want to hear from the folks and check it out.

The site is simple and straight forward but, could definitely use a little more about him. I have signed up already and look forward to the full development of the campaign. During the signup process he even asks for beta testers and your blog address if you are willing to help out, something I have never seen before. More importantly though, how will he use this? The collaboration technology available today along with his widespread blogger/internet support could be a huge factor in the upcoming race, will he use it? This is just the beginning.

    Already have. Thanks, Brandon

Just think if he wins the nomination and goes up against Obama…the ‘08 election will forever be known as “The Beauty and the Beast”

Far from an attractive candidate…I guess we’ll find out what kind of orator he is when he doesn’t have someone writing what he’s supposed to say.

Like to see how Fred fares in the next debate… if he’s invited.

Hey everyone, just to let you know I heard that the Thompson campaign is working on a new site where its rumored that you will eventually be able to get free signs and campaign gear. It’s called JoinFredT.com. Lets go Thompson!

  7. Steve Kroll Says:

In response to Jay, I think it is laughable that you are calling Fred Thompson’s elequoence and ability to speak off of the top of his head. Listen to Obama for more than 5 minutes and you will realize that their isn’t much substance there.

When Fred Thompson runs for the 2008 election for the President of the United States he will certainly get my vote. He sounds so down to earth, and talks about the issues that are important to the average person. Immigriation and Taxes.

Our next president was on Leno tonight; I noticed that he was
somewhat ill at ease when speaking about himself, but that’s okay because he is not a pompous, bragadocious man. He is what he appears to be: genuine, sincere, and at his core, a man of integrity and honesty. No pretense here. He is one who says what he means and means
what he says. Though he came close to announcing his candidacy,
tonight, as he has been doing for the past few weeks, he only hinted at it.
July 4th is the day we will celebrate when he makes his formal
announcement, as if reminding us of 1776 in order to suggest,
strongly, that the United States of America is ready for a “new beginning” and a different kind of leadership.

United we stand, divided we fall.
This is as true today as it has ever been,
    Abraham Lincoln brought us together in the 19th Century;
Ronald Reagan in the 20th Century; and now Fred Thompson
    in this-the 21st Century.
There are leaders who divide and there are leaders who
unite. Fred Dalton Thompson is respected and trusted by many
on both sides of the political aisle, Democrats as well as
    Republicans.
I say without hesitancy and without trepidation that FDT is the man for our times. He is not seeking the office of the presidency; the office is seeking him. That is why he will be the next president
of this country. Our Destiny Demands It!i

That sounds like a great ticket!

  12. Kat, Brandon's cousin Says:

“Abraham Lincoln brought us together in the 19th Century;”

Until he was assassinated, he was one of the most unpopular presidents the U.S. had ever seen–and I’m not talking about his image in the Confederacy. Abraham Lincoln jailed journalists for reporting military losses, suspended habeus corpus, instituted a draft which placed many American families in untenable positions (and provoked violent riots throughout the North), and was seen by many to have provoked a needless civil war. It wasn’t until after his assassination that this legacy was revised and his tenure viewed with nostalgia.

If that is your definition of bringing the country together, then Fred Thompson is certainly capable of it (and George W. has already achieved it). But please, for the love of all that is holy, lose the revisionist history.
