Is the Trib afraid of comments?

The Marquette Tribune is doing a series of stories on colleges and universities in the Milwaukee area. One story, about the Milwaukee School of Engineering, (MSOE), has elicited a heated response from students who believe the story seconded stereotypes about MSOE students. On the Tribune’s website, which I would not have seen had I not linked from for Lombardi’s piece, the article is claimed to have over 150 comments.
But where are the comments? The comments for all the Tribune’s stories are generally at the bottom of the page, where one might expect them. For this story, though, it appears that the comments section has been deleted or hidden. I think they are hidden. Why? Because you can Google the name of the article and get the cached version, which lists all of the comments. Get it here.

And when it turns out to be a technical glitch, and is repaired, you will claim credit for that too.
Perhaps you should look up Hanlon’s Razor on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name. Please search for Hanlon’s razor in Wikipedia to check for alternative titles or spellings.
* Start the Hanlon’s razor article or add a request for it.
* Search for “Hanlon’s razor” in existing articles.
* Look for pages within Wikipedia that link to this title.
Did you mean Occam’s razor, by any chance? That’s hilarious

Is the Trib lacking news and stories so bad that they are forced to find a few students that enjoy working on computers and playing video games who are attending a different university to write about? Last time I checked, MU had an engineering program, too, and the engineers from MU that I have worked with are not all that different from those at MSOE… If anybody knows Rosemary Lane, please pass along my name as someone who would be more than happy to chat about MSOE and discuss the fact that their is more to my alma mater than LAN parties and t-shirts she doesn’t understand.

Interesting. Google “Hanlon’s razor”, and you’ll get about 112,000 hits; the very first one is an non-empty Wikipedia entry at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon’s_razor.
But if you click on the link you get a page telling you that Wiki has no such entry.
Like a wise man said: To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer.
If you get to it via Google, you’ll see that Wikipedia’s version of Hanlon’s Razor is
“Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. †— or — “ Never assume malice when stupidity will suffice.â€
From a later posting there are reports the comments were pulled because they got really, really ugly. That would be a good reason too.

Really, really ugly? Examples?
