Last year Marquette was one of over forty Catholic institutions to send delegates to the first annual “Out There: National Conference of Scholars and Student Affairs Personnel involved in LGBTQ Issues on Catholic Campuses.”
This year, the Second Annual OUT THERE conference was hosted at DePaul University in Chicago. Archbishop Francis Cardinal George, in a column in the archdiocesan newspaper, raised serious concerns about the kind of message being propagated at the event.
This year 31 Catholic institutions of higher education attended, down from over forty last year. 11 of these institutions were Jesuit.
Marquette is not listed as a represented institution. Good for you, Marquette.

But did they go all the way? Did they find a fascist conference to attend instead?
Marquette is not going to attend whatever fascist conference of yours you are begging to plug, so get over it.
