From the Drudge Report: “GALLUP's 'traditional' likely voter model shows Obama with a two-point advantage over McCain on Thursday, 49% to 47%, this is within poll's margin of error... Developing..."

Could Joe The Plumber, a blue collar man who spoke for most of America when he spoke out against Obama’s socialist redistribution of wealth, turn this race around? Let’s hope so!

Don’t forget, America has already shown it doesn’t like the brand of socialist redistribution Obama is peddling in this June Gallup poll question (as James points out):

“When given a choice about how government should address the numerous economic difficulties facing today’s consumer, Americans overwhelmingly—by 84% to 13%—prefer that the government focus on improving overall economic conditions and the jobs situation in the United States as opposed to taking steps to distribute wealth more evenly among Americans.”

Here is McCain’s newly released web ad to highlight again how Obama wants to “spread the wealth”:

I’ll save Richard Martin, Kat, and others some time…. “obviously this was a flawed poll because everyone knows that clearly all of America favors Obama, McCain should just concede right now and we should spend the next 20 days having one big Obama party at Grant Park”… either that or maybe Senator Obama still has a fight on his hands, even if it is a long shot.

You should make a pie with all that cherry picking ;)

He’d have to make a cobbler instead…don’t you know that only DailyKos libruls like pie? ;-)

Also…I am greatly amused that that ad has a glaring typo: “Everbody?”

Whoops. It seems that some of the children is still not learning.

the most equitable method of raising taxes on the wealthy is clearly to add a tax bracket on the high end of the scale, and if necessary to be even more equitable, decrease the existing brackets a percentage point or two to make the new bracket have only a slightly nominal effect. Honestly, why do A-Rod and Lebron James get the same tax treatment as some plumber who makes barely more than 250,000? How about we just raise taxes on A-Rod and Lebron James? I think that’s the best idea there is

Joe the plumber will probably have the same effect Gore’s characters did in 2000, despite the fact that Joe is real. He isn’t in the 250,000 tax bracket, and his dream of buying the plumbing business from his employers won’t put him into that bracket either.

Obama’s first, second, and third priority is to get elected. If that means pandering to large numbers of unemployed, under employed, those on welfare, illegal aliens, and malcontents, he’ll be happy to throw them a few crumbs as a way to get their votes. He will also turn democracy and capitalism on it’s head, and villainize the affluent and successful in our society, in order to rally the masses behind him. With evangelical zeal Obama will convince his followers to replace reason with hope and belief … to blindly follow him … never challenge him … and embrace his words as gospel. In the real, and unforgiving world of economics however, when you immediately gratify everyone by feasting on the goose that lays the golden eggs, the economy looses it’s ability to continue generating growth and wealth. Obama is promising everyone a piece of the pie, whether they helped bake it, or not … but, only in a socialistic, or communist state do the non-contributors demand to share equally in the property that belongs to others. Immediate gratification is like a drug to the malcontents, but in the big picture, every farmer knows that you never eat your seed crop. If Obama gets elected, America will turn into a third world country, with massive government welfare programs, unable to generate jobs for it’s citizens, and unable to compete in the global markets. Keep America safe, free and strong … elect McCain/Palin on November 4th.

McCains’ first, second, and third priority is to get elected. Thats why he picked Palin, that’s why he is pandering to “Joe the Plumbers, that’s why he is supporting the nonsensical attacks against Obama. I guess that means he will destroy our country too. He will create a fascist, military, state that slowly drains our nations resources fighting wars we have no business fighting.

But, hey whatever floats your boat.
