Rep Gwen Moore (D) Plugging Ears on Healthcare During Recess

After reviewing the disastrous socialized healthcare “public option” put forth by President Barack Obama, I did what I usually do, I called up my US Representative, Democratic Congresswoman Gwen Moore (202-225-4572) to voice my disapproval of the big government plan and asked her not to vote for it.

Being the concerned citizen that I am, I also called to ask about attending a townhall meeting or listening session of some type.  After all , Rep Paul Ryan (R) had 17 scheduled.  I looked on her website first but, I could find a mention of anything.   Imagine my surprise when I asked the Congresswoman’s staffer when her townhalls were.

Staffer: “Congresswoman Moore does not have any listening sessions planned.”

What?!?  A crucial and pivotal debate is being played out across America, and my representative isn’t planning a single session?  No way to meet and talk?  Nothing?

I guess we know her mind is already made up for her as a Democrat.  No need to listen, she won’t vote against a plan most of America now opposes anyways.

Give her a call anyways at 202-225-4572, ask her to start listening to the voices of her constituents who are opposed to big government ruining their health.
