The New York Times reports that Wal Mart is going to start offering generic prescriptions as low as $4 and up to $30 for a full month’s supply.  Some 300 drugs are going to be offered.  The program is being tested in Florida, and will be expanded next year:

The drugs covered by the program treat common conditions like allergies, cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes. In some cases, the company said, customers could save more than 60 percent over typical generic drug costs. The lower prices will be available to the insured and the uninsured.

You mean people without insurance can get cheap drugs from Wal-Mart?  I thought Wal-Mart was the most evil company in the entire world.  Maybe someone can make a documentary on how Wal-Mart actually helps people…

Why is Jim Doyle the way he is?

Holy freakin crap. Turns out that Mark Green was right all along. The Journal Sentinel is reporting that Jim Doyle’s campaign lawyer, Michael Maistelman, contacted Democratic members of the Wisconsin State Elections Board in order to get them to vote to take the money away from Green. It seems that even the disgustingly evil Doyle-machine knew that the money would eventually get put back in the hands of Mark Green, Maistelman wrote in an e-mail to one of the Board members a day before they were to vote…

“Even if this ends up in Court it is a PR victory for us since it makes Green spend money and have to defend the use of his Washington DC dirty money”

Are you freaking kidding me? Can we put this guy in jail right now, or at least throw him out of the bar? I mean honestly, how can this guy be saying that he practices ethical law. This guy sucks. Jim Doyle sucks. I suspect we’ll see Green pull at least even in the polling over the next few weeks… surpassing Doyle just in time to grab the election this November.

How the hell can Jim Doyle sit back and accuse Mark Green of being unethical? What an idiot. Wow.

On a side note, a new Strategic Vision poll of Wisconsin voters confirms earlier reports that Green was pulling the gap together with Doyle — reporting a 42% vote for Green and a 46% for Doyle with 12% undecided. Uh oh, someone better get slick Jim’s resume up on Monster.com before he has to get in that unemployment line.

Green closes the gap

Written by Administrator on September 19, 2006 – 8:11 pm -

A recent poll (conducted September 17) by Rasmussen Reports has Mark Green trailing Jim doyle 44.0 to 47.0 percent with 9.0 percent undecided for this November’s gubernatorial election. A poll by the same company last month (August 20) had Doyle ahead 49.0 to 41.0 percent.
If Green can prove to Wisconsin voters that he’s not the corrupt Washington politican who’s against kids with diabetes that the Doyle campaign ads are claiming he is, he’s going to take the election this November. The bottom line: what’s good for Wisconsin is bad for Jim Doyle.
